I’ve always loved it when you see ladies with loads of ring on their finger, all different sizes shapes and a story behind each one. I can remember watching a programme on Jacqueline Wilson and being in awe of her ring bearing fingers. For ages I struggled with having tiny fingers and found it really difficult to find rings that fit. But after a growth spurt in my late teens and now I can just about find rings that fit my tiny fingers. Today I thought I would share with you the story behind each of the rings I wear on a regular basis.
Up first the oldest of the rings I wear, my Pandora ring. I got this one about 4 Christmases ago now and wear it nearly everyday. I love the simplicity of this one yet it is still got that element of glitz. The only annoying thing about this ring is the heart gaps on the side because general dirt, soap and grim gets stuck inside (you can see this in the header picture). I have to end up getting a needle to poke the dirt out. Apart from that I love it.
Next is my thumb ring. I love this one so much! Hand made from a stall at an agriculture show with a hammered dent design. Again simple yet pretty (you may be seeing a trend here). This one only cost me around £20 and is real silver. I have always found that silver suits my colouring more than gold so I mainly wear silver jewelry.
Finally is this silver wrap ring. This one is probably my most unique ring due to the wrapped shape. I got this one from the same show as the thumb ring but the next day. I also love the arrow design as I have always liked this quote… ‘An arrows can only be shot by pulling it backwards. When life is dragging you back with difficulties, it means its going to launch you into something greater. So focus and keep aiming’ before they are forced forwards. The only issue with this one is the flexibility of the silver. Due to its wrap the silver is very bendy and has really bent out of shape but it fits me well so maybe I just have wonky fingers?
So there you go a little look at the three rings I pretty much wear every day. Let me know if you liked this kind of post and what your favorite kind of ring is in the comments.
Thanks for taking a look.
