Back on Monday, it was super sunny and I spent the day at my local abbey at a medieval armoury day. My home town is very medieval and has a huge medieval festival every July to celebrate the Battle Of Tewkesbury of 1471, which I’m actually tempted to blog about this year! I love my local Abbey the architecture is just amazing I especially love the ceiling as you will see.
As well as the beautiful Abbey, there were lots of people dressed up showing off their medieval wears and talents, from archery to creating dresses from scratch, music and artillery. It’s nice to speak to people who are so passionate about what they love.
We also watched an archery demonstration which was actually really good. The technique and equipment is so so different to the millennial Olympic style archery you see on the TV. I also managed to get a picture of some of the reenactors posing for a picture which is pretty cool.
So there you go! A few little picture from my Monday. We also went for lunch a little tea shop which was really really cute!
Thanks for taking a look!
