Exploring Worcester…

Today I went for a shopping trip to Worcester with Jack as we both had the day off. Having lived not too far away from Worcester my whole life I was amazed I had never actually been before. It had all of your usual high street shops that you expect like New Look and Top Shop plus a lot of little boutique shops and little charity shops. The buildings were really pretty and were a mix of Tudor buildings as well as modern ones (similar to when I went to Ledbury).

After a walk around and a look at the cathedral we went to Bills for lunch. I have never actually been to Bills before even though they are popping up in every shopping centre. I had a Bills Cider for my drink and picked the Fish Finger Sandwich for my main. Jack ordered the flat iron steak which also looked amazing (all good pictured below). It sounds like a pretty basic lunch but it was really really tasty. I would definitely have it again. Now I love a good Cider so I know what I like but and I really enjoyed it. It wasn’t too strong and tasted really nice and sweet.

I also picked up a few items of clothing to update my mainly black wardrobe. I always go for the same types of clothing so am trying to push the boat out a little. I should hopefully be doing a haul post soonish if you want to see what I got?

I had a great day and would definitely go again if I wanted to look at a wide verity of shops. And take a bit of a longer walk around some more of the sights the city has to offer.

Thanks for taking a look!

  1. I used to live fairly close-by too, and I still do really – I went back for the first time in a couple of years just before Christmas and I thought the choice of shops was pretty good too! I’ve never actually been to Bills though (feel like I need to rectify this in 2018) – lovely to read more about the city I’ve always quite liked, and I’m glad you managed to get there to check it out! 🙂

    1. I feel bad that I had never visited and live not far away! I didn’t get chance to explore it too much so am definitely looking at going back in the near future to have a closer look at the city! Thanks for taking a look and leaving a lovely comment as always xx
