Mug Brownies…

I loved using this recipe at uni for those times I needed a really cheap chocolate fix! It’s really easy and only takes a few minutes! I have been planning to do this blog post for a while but had to find the right combination of ingredience as every recipe I have looked at had different amounts of each ingredience. I think this is the best one I have found…

All you need:

One decent sized mug…

A spoon…

Ingredience:
2 Tbsp of Plain flower…

2 Tbsp of Coca powder…

3 Tbsp of Sugar…

2 Tbsp of Melted Butter….

2 Tbsp of Milk….

A pinch of Salt…

Some Chocolate chips or a normal square of chocolate to pop into the middle…

Steps:

1. Start by melting the butter in your chosen mug. Then all you need to do is add in and combine the rest of the ingredience. Each mug brownie normally comes out different but feel free to add in more milk and sugar if the ingredience arnt combining well.

2. Once the mixture is all mixed with no lumps in it you can now add your chocolate chips or square of chocolate into the centre of the mixture (I normally poke it in with my finger).

3. Cooking time is around 1-2 mins and heavily depends on what kind of mug your using and how cooked you like your brownie. Normally I check it around the 1.30 mark to make sure it’s not burning.

And there you go! That’s the few easy steps to making a mug brownie! I hope you enjoy! And I hope you enjoy this slightly different blog post. Below is a picture of the last one I made it decided to fall out of the mug so I popped it on a plate and added some little marsh mellows on top!

  1. Ooohh seems very easy! Will have to try.
    I did a little experimenting this weekend too.
    If you like cinnamon rolls (Pillsbury) instead of baking them separately in the oven, trying baking 2 at a time in a waffle maker (it takes about 3-4 minutes) so in essence, you get a cinnamon roll waffle!
    Soo yummy.
