Every year London’s Hyde Park is taken over by all things Christmassy. The park is filled with rides, food and gift stalls and also German bars. Normally I’m a bit of a scrooge when it comes to Christmas, but I actually really enjoyed walking around and it even made me feel Christmassy. There are lots of extra things to do while your there such as ice skating, an ice bar and a massive big wheel.
There are so many different food stalls all around the park, from waffles and churros to German bratwurst sausages. One thing that I really loved was warm apple cider, it wasn’t to hot and tasted so lush, it even came in a cute little winter wonderland cup!
When it starts to get dark the hole place is lit up by light and it looks so pretty. Even all of the fair ground rides light up. I really loved the archway of lights that was surrounded by little market stalls.
Also in the evening bands play at some of the bars, so many people were dancing and singing around to the music. It was really cold when I went and one of the bars we went to had two massive fire pits it was so lush sitting next to them while listening to the music.
Even though everything did cost a lot of money I did have a really nice time and would defiantly go again.
you for reading.
